I’ve been tagged by the Taxgirl. I’m glad it has nothing to do with taxes, as that topic tends to give me a headache. I have to list seven random things about myself, even if you really don’t want to know about them. They may be intimate, so brace yourselves. Here goes:

1. I currently support myself through college as a web content provider and web designer. The web content thing used to be a one-woman show, but now we’ve got 3 excellent staff writers. The web design service is relatively new, and my partner was the one who set it up. Now, the setup of both services is more like a business rather than just one person.
2. My dream is to own a small bed and breakfast/catering service. I love cooking. Whenever I have free time, my friends order truffles, pasta, and other yummy goodies. I also want to have my own herb garden outside the bed and breakfast, so that everything is fresh. (Plus, having an almost unlimited stock of basil sounds good to me)
3. I’ve sold (only) one of my paintings and one of my sculptures. I’m currently in my junior year as a painting major (all my classmates are around 5 years younger). One of my professors bought the sculpture, and the painting (see image above) was sold at a local art auction for five times my initial asking price. I’m pretty proud of all that :)
4. I was able to buy my current 17 in. computer monitor because my classmates paid me to do their graphics and advertising projects for them. I don’t do this anymore, because business is so much better, but it was the only quick way out I could think of when I was desperate (they approached me for this). The monitor is just from the overflow of orders I got. Most of my “project money” was used for food, school supplies, and transportation.
5. I cried at the ending of the first Pokemon movie. I really don’t want to explain this.
6. An American Idol contestant was once interviewed in a radio show, and she mentioned my webcomic. Well, that’s because I named the main character’s cat after her. I had no idea she would actually see it, let alone talk about it.
7. My mom says that when I was a kid, I wanted to marry Astroboy.  She could be lying, but I remember watching a lot of Astroboy as a kid.  I do have a couple of figurines I got only 2 years ago, plus a fun Astroboy shirt.  So maybe I’m not over that relationship yet.
