PushPin gives an “Always on top” option for all windows
Help files. HTML codes. Documents you need to cut and paste. These are just a few of the examples of windows you would always want to be visible. But because not all programs natively support the always visible feature, you can easily lose them when dealing with many windows. PushPin solves this age-old problem by adding an “Always on top” choice in the windows menu, ready at your disposal.
This small program is ready out of the box - there is no setup involved. Just extract the zip file and run the program. The menu item is automatically added and once you activate the feature, that window will remain in full view regardless of window focus shifts. Pretty cool, huh?
You save time with PushPin instead of using the Alt-Tab function just to bring a window you really need back at front. To deactivate the program, just right click on the icon in the taskbar and choose Remove.
Overall, PushPin is a light and simple application that does its job flawlessly. And the best news of all – it’s available for free.
While the web site lists that this utility is for Windows 95/98 and NT4 only, the program also ran on Windows XP.

I’ve been using it ever since this review, and I’m glad to say that I find that Pushpin is indispensable! Especially on a computer with a small screen (ex. my netbook).
