Scrybe looks amazing! Web-based organization with offline use!
I caught this on Download Squad this morning. The movie says it all, so I’ll let you watch it, then we’ll chat.
Ready? Is that freakin’ awesome or what?!? I’m blown away. Like the folks at DownloadSquad I’ve requested early admission into the Scrybe beta test group. Since this blog is so new, I’m going on the rest of my major bloggy coolness … hmm I think I’m asking a lot here. Regardless I can’t wait to try it. I do have some questions, though.
First, how is it going to sync with the tools you’re using now. I’m thinking Outlook and other PIMs. I have a ton of stuff in my calendar already. Tasks? Don’t go there.
Mobile devies. My Blackberry syncs with Outlook so I have all my contacts, Notes, tasks, etc on there. I know mobile sync is a little out there, but hey its a legit question I think.
The final big one is cost. What’s it going to cost. Like most Web 2.0 companies I bet they are going to offer a free and a premium version. I think the make or break is going to be the cost for value balance.
I’ll let you know if I get into the beta (which could start any time now).

I asked myself the same questions (well, most of them) when I took a look at Scrybe for my post on it. Hopefully users will be able to sync with their PIMs because if that is not available it will limit the appeal of what is otherwise a pretty awesome service.
